✓Currently renovating pool area. Other than that the stay was good. Can't wait to see what they are doing to the pool. I hope it's open for my next trip.

“Always a wonderful experience and look forward to future visits and more Luxor improvements!!”

✓Stayed 4 nights in the Pyramid corner suite upper floors - view to the airport and was happy to see the progress on the MLB Stadium on opposite corner. Disappointed to hear the buffet closed last March but happy I enjoyed the buffet last February. Understood as few buffets are left in Vegas due to costs to operate. I only hope they turn the uniquely Egyption buffet area into maybe a huge food court or something that guests can experience in the future. The food, service, with little wait time is excellent at both the Pyramid Cafe and Public House....especially favor the "Fish & Chips" at Public House -- not what one thinks -- its a large single piece of whitefish in light batter! Yes there is "sewer" smell when walking from parking garage to hotel, but that is because the pools are being dug up and new ones going in - huge project and exciting to see a major upgrade like this. The rooms in the Pyramid are generally clean and large. My beds were exteremely comfortable and huge like new pillows.. very nice. TV reception was not clear, tvs are small, phones are dated and the automated wake up never worked. I like using those in addition to my phone, but no big deal. When checking in, I made 2 trips and on my 2cd trip to the room noticed my door was not locked. Called front desk and it only took 1-1/2 hours for someone to show up, but while I waited I got to thinking and tried moving the door lever up and down and noticed that the deadbolt device was sticking.....so be sure to check your door is locked when leaving your room... might just be a sticking lcoking device. I love being able to check in on the phone app and having a digital key on my phone....no need to go to the front desk any more as everything check in and check out is done with the app. Still not happy they allow smoking in the casino, but few smokers these days and I only had one smoker next to me one night. Pleasantly surprised to see a difference in clientele from 5-6 years ago. While it was a fun party atmosphere then, the crowds this time were more subdued and still guests from all over..good mix overall. In regard to the "Inclinator" elevators -- its a unique ride; all included in the price of the room!! Fun and another engineering feat that gets little attention. Good value, great food, unique experience with the incredible engineering of the Pyramid.. and what a location with proximity to Alegiance Stadium and soon to be MLB stadium, and the airport.... With the new changes and different clientelle overall...I will continue to stay at the Luxor! PS: some conditioner would be a nice addition in the shower.

“Not as good second time around”

✓I last stayed here back in 21. The experience this time was sorely lacking. I had a Pyramid corner suite and got to ride the inclinator. I really did not like how it felt. The ride was bumpy and they really need a sign to hold on especially at the beginning and the end The room itself was clean but rather sparse and IMO rather poorly lit. The deep soaking tub was nice but there was a light over it that had no switch to turn it on. The dining options this time were lacking unless you went to the food court and none of them accept the loyalty program. Oh yes and the windows really need cleaning. I n short the room was really showing its age and is really in need of a serious upgrade

“Problem after problem.”

✓Broken door, no staff to fix it, required 5 trips from one end of the casino to the other, had to wait for nearly 2 hours for maintenance to fix it. This was expedited service because I was going to miss our hockey game that we were attending. Be aware of parking limitations that occur when there is a home Raiders game. We prepaid for self parking and then were charged to Valet park. It was difficult to find staff in the casino to assist with the problems. We were told that they had completed layoffs.

“Never again. Spoilt the holiday”

✓Dirty, unorganised bad customer service, room cleaning awful. Gave it a second chance as received response to first complaint saying how they would make it extra special if we came again blah blah. Was bad the first stay, and thought maybe a one off but was even worse the next time. My fault for being stupid enough to go back. Never again, they just don't care about their customers.
