Amazing location. Go to O'Sheas for the frozen baileys. Great hotel and you can't beat the location and price on the strip.

4 star experience

Great affordable stay where I won my first hand pay at the casino in the LINQ, only thing I would complain about is the long lines to get a room where you’re forced to use kiosk. I got the second floor when I’m a loyal Caesar’s rewards member that goes to Vegas all the time, so it would been nice to be on a higher floor not near the ice machine.

Okay Hotel with a Great Location

The LINQ’s location is unbeatable. It sits right in the center of the Strip, across from Caesars Palace’s Forum Shops and between Harrah's and The Flamingo. Strangely, even though it’s a Caesars property, none of the restaurants we tried there accepted Caesars Rewards. Parking The LINQ’s parking garage is tough to use. Pillars every three spaces make parking tight, especially for larger vehicles. There isn’t much signage, so making your way toward the exit can be tricky on the upper levels. We parked in section 4D on the third floor, which was a little confusing. When we checked in on Friday night, the staff told us parking was free for locals. But when we checked out on Sunday morning, we found out it was only free for locals until February and only from Sunday to Thursday. Because our stay included both a Friday and a Saturday, we ended up paying $50 for parking. Employees Every employee we interacted with was polite and friendly. Even if they were slightly misinformed about parking fees. Room Overview Now, about the room. We booked a Deluxe Poolside Cabana King. We knew the pool would be closed in December, but we got a great deal and liked the idea of having a patio. Noise The room was noisy, with constant sounds from equipment or other guests. One morning, around 5am, it sounded like someone nearby was moving furniture for at least 20 minutes. It woke me up, and I couldn’t get back to sleep. If you’re a light sleeper or want peace and quiet, consider a higher floor or a different hotel. Room Amenities The refrigerator was free to use, which is becoming rare in Las Vegas. It kept our drinks nice and cold. The safe didn’t work and kept giving error messages, no matter what codes we tried. We’re experienced hotel guests and have never been unable to use a safe. The patio curtain doesn’t close quite as much as I think it should; it’s about a foot shy. There’s too much of a gap that lets light in and allows someone to look into your room if they’ve hopped the patio wall. The two chairs in the room were made out of an easy-to-clean leather/leatherette/vinyl, I’m not sure which. Sitting on fabric chairs and couches in hotels skeeves me out, so having something cleanable was wonderful. There is a multi-port charger on one of the nightstands. The wireless charger charged my phone lightning fast. However, none of the USB ports in the room worked, but all the power outlets did. The bed wasn’t the worst I’ve slept in, but it was far from the best. The sheets felt scratchy and low-quality. The HVAC system was inconsistent. We set it to 72 degrees, but sometimes the room was cold and other times it was stuffy. It was hard to keep a comfortable temperature at night. Room Cleanliness Overall, the room was clean. The one issue with cleanliness is that I grabbed a folded towel from one of the shelves in the bathroom that was damp and had a stain that looked like fruit punch. At least I hope it was fruit punch. Since it was folded on a shelf, I imagine that housekeeping assumed it was unused. It’s best to change ALL the linen when turning around the room for the next guests. Bathroom Can we move on from barn doors? I get that they look nice and probably save space, but they don’t block any sound. Some things are just meant to be private. The bathroom had dispensers for hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. All were well-stocked except the hand soap, which was empty. I brought my own, so it wasn’t a problem. The shower curtain billows and sticks to you. Wetting the shower wall and pressing the curtain against it helps keep it in place. The best things about the bathroom were the very hot water and the excellent water pressure. I love hot showers, and the water pressure was some of the best we’ve had at any hotel. Patio The patio is a nice, fairly quiet spot when the pool is closed. It has a TV, two counter-height chairs with a counter, two end tables, and a couch that seats three or four people. There’s a gate with direct access to the pool area, but since the pool was closed, the gate was locked during our stay. The patio area was pretty quiet and relaxing. Most of the noise came from nearby HVAC or industrial equipment, which was mostly just a gentle hum. You can also see and hear the Fly Linq Zipline. People yell as they go down, but it didn’t bother us. However, we could still hear the yelling inside the room, even with the patio door closed. I imagine it gets louder when the pool is open. If you need daytime rest and are a light sleeper, this room might not be the best choice. One thing that stood out was how dusty the patio was. The table and chairs had a layer of dirt that needed wiping before we could use them, and the walls were dirty as well. The patios should be pressure-washed at least when the pool closes and again before it reopens. There was also a vent on the patio that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The patios face south, so in winter the sun shines directly on them. The umbrella didn’t help much because it didn’t tilt, so it was hard to stay outside for long on warm days. Hopefully, the building blocks most of the sun during the summer. Summary The LINQ Hotel + Experience is a decent place to stay. The location is excellent, and overall cleanliness is good. It has a fun vibe and the staff are great. There are just a lot of little things that detract from the experience: excessive noise in the room, some guests' lack of parental supervision, the fiasco that is the parking garage, bedding quality, restaurants not accepting Caesars Rewards, etc. None of these are dealbreakers, but they do matter. Still, if I found a great deal, I’d consider staying here again. I wish I could give half stars. This is a 3.5-star experience: better than three, but definitely not four.

Linq - watch your bill!

I did a conference stay of four nights plus an extra night that I paid out of my pocket. I added a comment to my reservations that I would like the same room throughout the stay if possible. I was assured that this would be handled during checkin. During checkin I got a room for all days, I asked not to pay anything extra, but the clerk snuck in a paid upgrade to my conference room which I learned during checkout. The upgrade was that I had a standard small room, but with view to the pool, which really was a joke. Thankfully, a manager took off the upgrade charge. The room was ok, but you could tell that the rooms are not serviced a lot: - The nightstand charger was unplugged - The outlets at the desk were broken - There was trash in the drawers - The safe was locked. I would have to order the hotel locksmith to open it so I could use it. Overall, my verdict is that you can use the hotel if you get a really good deal, but be extra careful with billing as they might sneak in charges differently than what they tell you.

Be prepared to do your own housekeeping and electrical work and BYOTV and toilet seat!

I booked this hotel on the recommedation from friends who frequent LV. For an average of $500 a night, we were prepared to be wowed. Well, we were but not in the way one would expect. The TV and phone never worked and maintenance said it was hotel wide. The lights in the bathroom went out frequently and we had to go stand in line at the front desk to get any help. We were told we should have just known it was up to us to reset the breakers. The toilet seat was stained yellow and the housekeepers said it was clean, it needed to be replaced. The room was overall dirty/dusty, there were crumbs under and around the coffee pot. We decided to end the vacation early and the front desk manager said the early check out fee would be waived, come to find out today that this was not done. 0/10 do not recommend.
