Pros & Cons

  • The staff is genuinely friendly and eager to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you check in.
  • Breakfast options are abundant and tasty, providing a great start to your day without needing to venture out for your morning meal.
  • The gym is well-equipped for a hotel, allowing you to maintain your fitness routine with a variety of machines and weights during your stay.
  • Rooms are updated and comfortable, which means you can relax after a busy day exploring without worrying about outdated decor or uncomfortable furnishings.
  • The hotel maintains a high level of cleanliness, which is essential for peace of mind, especially in shared spaces like the lobby and dining area.
  • The availability of a sister property nearby offers some peace of mind in case of emergencies, like power outages, although communication could be improved.
What doesn't
  • Parking fees are steep, which can add a significant cost to your stay, especially if you plan on using your vehicle frequently to explore the city.
  • There have been some cleanliness issues reported in certain areas, which can detract from the overall experience and make guests feel less comfortable.
  • Room quality concerns have been noted, including potential maintenance issues, which may impact your stay if you're expecting a well-kept environment.
  • The breakfast staff can struggle to keep items stocked during busy hours, leading to frustrating waits when you're trying to grab a quick bite before heading out.
  • Valet service can be slow, with reports of lengthy waits for your vehicle, which is less than ideal when you're eager to head out for the day.

Perfect location Perfect hotel

Out of power, but staff did everything manually and kept a great attitude with the challenges they face doing it old school with escorts to your room and they just kept smiling. Sister hotel, Garden Inn had the only open restaurant and a few steps away, I enjoyed a ribeye. My favorite part of the whole experience is that it is a dog friendly hotel and since most were locals who had no power, everyone had dogs. No smell anywhere in that hotel. Amazing. Thanks. I will definitely stay again.
Nothing.

Great front desk staff, room was large and very comfortable.

Location was good, staff was amazing
Breakfast staff had a hard time keeping up with keeping things full, valet was slow retrieving vehicle, waited 25 minutes before asking the front desk to realize the valet was just talking to hotel front desk staff instead of paying attention to device that notifies someone needs their car.

6Good

Wished they had a generator to have backup power.

Close to my work
Power went out because of a storm. Parking prices were absolutely insanity. Way too expensive on top of an already expensive room.
Guests consistently praise the friendly and accommodating staff, along with the spacious and clean rooms. However, many reviews mention the high cost of parking as a significant drawback, and some express disappointment over service delays, particularly with valet and breakfast staff during busy periods.

Who Should Stay Here?

This hotel suits travelers who want a central location without breaking the bank. If you're a music lover eager to dive into Nashville's scene or a visitor to nearby Vanderbilt University, the Home2 Suites offers convenience. Friendly staff and a solid breakfast can make your mornings enjoyable. For those planning to spend most of their time exploring rather than lounging in their room, the hotel provides decent value. On the other hand, guests looking for luxury or top-notch accommodations should look elsewhere. Cleanliness and maintenance issues have cropped up, which can impact your comfort. If you want a hassle-free experience without parking fees or long waits for breakfast, other options in Nashville might serve you better. This place can feel more like a budget choice for families or groups than a polished getaway.
