  • The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, which makes you feel welcomed and valued during your stay.
  • Breakfast offers a wide variety of options, allowing you to fuel up for a day of sightseeing with something more than just the usual pastries.
  • The bed and bath linens are of good quality, ensuring a comfortable and clean environment for a restful night’s sleep.
  • The hotel is generally quiet, especially considering its proximity to central areas, allowing for a peaceful retreat after a busy day.
What doesn't
  • Cleanliness issues can be a concern, as some guests have reported finding areas that needed more attention, which can undermine the overall comfort of your stay.
  • Room size is often cramped, which can be uncomfortable if you have a lot of luggage or plan to spend significant time in your room.
  • The heating system has been unreliable for some guests, leading to chilly nights, which can be a significant drawback in the cooler months.

9Exceptional
Breakfast was great. The Hotel is close to the tram and can easily be reached. The Hotel is on the backside of la piccola Londra and very quite. We would stay there again.
Bathroom was a little bit small but this is typical for Rome. Still would highly recommend this place.

7Very Good

Comfy by loud room

The bed was comfy, the bathroom clean and the staff super polite!
The bedroom was small and I could hear loud noise downstairs in the kitchen (I guess, from the metal noise and smell of food) and other guests next door very well...
Guests frequently praise the great breakfast and the convenient location of Hotel Villa Glori, along with the friendly and helpful staff. However, complaints often revolve around small bathrooms, noise from neighboring rooms, and a need for some updates to the facilities.

Who Should Stay Here?

Hotel Villa Glori is a solid choice for travelers who prioritize location and friendly service. If you enjoy exploring cities on foot, the easy access to trams and major attractions will suit you well. The breakfast spread provides a decent start to your day, allowing you to choose from more than just standard fare. Guests who value attentive staff will appreciate the genuine hospitality that enhances the overall experience. However, those who need spacious accommodations or a pristine environment might want to look elsewhere. Cramped rooms can be a hassle, especially if you're traveling with multiple bags. Cleanliness issues reported by some guests could detract from your comfort. Additionally, unreliable heating and noise from narrow hallways may not provide the restful stay many hope for.

The Verdict

Our Take

Hotel Villa Glori offers a warm atmosphere with friendly staff and a prime location near tram lines and major attractions. The breakfast variety fuels your day of exploration, and the quality of linens ensures a comfortable stay. However, cleanliness issues and cramped room sizes can detract from the experience, along with potential heating problems in colder months. If you prioritize location and service over spaciousness and immaculate cleanliness, this hotel is a solid choice for your Roman getaway.
