I loved the stay the staff and overall the space. Susana made my stay worth it for sure she is so amazing and full of energy always ready to help and gives service with a smile. She was fabulous and made me feel at home she truly cares for all clients at this hotel. Highly recommend her for all booking meds thank you Susana.
The breakfast was not actually breakfast just muffins and coffee/granola bars and oatmeal packets. Maybe eggs and bacon would be nice or some fruit at least just Sharing.

While the property was somewhat clean, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It’s old, outdated, and in need of a facelift. The halls and rooms smell uniquely and are musty. There was supposed to be a “grab and go” breakfast but that was not true. The was lukewarm coffee, water for tea, a packages of oatmeal. Although the front desk clerk stated breakfast is on the way, it never seemed to appear. Parking was easy & convenient.

There was no breakfastjust coffee and muffins that were old. Staff was slow and were always in their phones. My room was missing the handle on the bathroom door, and it couldnt close. The screen to the window had a hole in it. Asked for all the kitchen supplies and no tpaster was given.

I would NOT recommend this place. Looked beautiful on Expedia and it was a last minute booking. Front desk guy Bryce was wonderful for check in. It was convenient to all of our events and parking was nice because it's free and plentiful. After reading all the yelp reviews I can confirm: No roaches No mold Yes the whole entire building smells. My room had a weird scent made me feel nauseous all night. They don't have shampoo in the bathroom you have to ask for it. Our only bar soap in the tub was broken. There was NO ONE there for check in. I had to leave my keys on the desk after waiting for about 5+ mins.
Guests frequently praise the staff, particularly Susana and Bryce, for their warmth and helpfulness, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, many reviews highlight significant dissatisfaction with the breakfast offerings, cleanliness, and outdated facilities, with several guests noting unpleasant odors and maintenance issues.

Who Should Stay Here?

Budget travelers and those who prioritize location will find value here. The hotel's proximity to major highways and public transportation makes accessing San Diego's attractions easy. Guests who appreciate helpful staff can benefit from the service provided by individuals like Susana, whose warmth stands out. Ample on-site parking is a plus for those driving in, allowing you to explore without worrying about parking hassles. However, cleanliness and maintenance issues plague this hotel, so those who value a pristine environment and well-kept facilities should consider alternatives. If you expect a hearty breakfast to fuel your day, you might be disappointed by the limited options here. Additionally, anyone sensitive to odors or looking for a consistently pleasant atmosphere may want to seek out a different accommodation.
