Pros & Cons

What works
  • The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Their willingness to assist can turn a good stay into a memorable one, especially if you're navigating a new city.
  • The location is excellent, situated just a two-minute walk from the metro. This means you can easily access Amsterdam's major attractions without needing to rely on taxis or long walks.
  • Clean rooms provide a refreshing space to relax after a long day of exploring. A well-kept room can make all the difference when you're tired and just want to unwind.
  • The hotel offers great value for money, especially for solo travelers looking for affordable accommodation. You get the essentials without breaking the bank, allowing more budget for experiences in the city.
  • The area feels safe, which is crucial if you're traveling alone or returning late at night. Safety can enhance your overall comfort and enjoyment during your stay.
What doesn't
  • The rooms are small, which can be a challenge if you're used to more spacious accommodations. Limited space can make it difficult to relax or unpack if you have a lot of luggage.
  • There are occasional cleanliness issues, which is disappointing in any hotel. A room that doesn’t meet cleanliness standards can detract from your overall experience.
  • The environment can be noisy, especially if your neighbors are loud or if you're near the street. This can disrupt your sleep and make it hard to recharge for the next day’s adventures.
  • You may find that towels are not replaced daily, which might catch you off guard. If you're staying for an extended period, this can feel less than accommodating.

10Exceptional
The location is excellent, and the hotel offers great value for money. The staff is very friendly and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Due to heavy snowfall in Amsterdam, my flight was canceled twice, and both times I returned and rebooked this hotel because I liked it so much. In my opinion, it’s a great choice for solo travelers.

Comfy, convenient and easy!

Was exactly what I needed. Location was amazing, very a 2 min walk from the metro. It was quiet and the beds were nice and comfy.
Towels were not replaced daily. I believe cleaning only happened once in my 7 day stay.

Solo travelers or budget-conscious visitors will find great value at easyHotel Amsterdam City Centre South. The clean rooms and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere, while the excellent location near the metro makes it easy to explore the city without added transportation costs. This hotel allows you to prioritize experiences over accommodation, making it a solid choice for those who need just the essentials while adventuring through Amsterdam. On the other hand, couples or families looking for spacious accommodations should probably seek alternatives. The small rooms can feel cramped, especially with luggage.
