“Xigua Limited”

✓I booked this hotel on Booking.com, but through a partnered company called Xigua Limited. My stay at the hotel was fine and everything was fine with the reservation. However, I did not receive the invoice when I checked out, but I had to wait a month for it to arrive from this partner company. When I received the invoice, it did not have an invoice number that matched the Booking Number (which is highlighted on the receipt I received from Booking), and the payment currency was in CNY even though everything was paid for in euros. Also, the full address of the hotel was not on the invoice, nor was the address of my company to which I asked for the invoice to be addressed. I contacted Booking, but they were of no help. I will never book a hotel through such partner agencies again, because Booking has no control over what happens, and I myself could not be in direct communication with them. The hotel is rather a 3-star hotel, and I only stayed one night, so it was ok, even though it was overpriced. I don't think I would book it again. Everyone was very kind.
