Pros & Cons

What works
  • The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. A little kindness goes a long way, especially in a bustling place like Vegas.
  • The location is a major perk; it's a short 15-20 minute walk to the Strip and venues like The Sphere. This means you can enjoy the excitement without the constant noise and chaos right outside your door.
  • Rooms are spacious and comfortable, which is a relief after a long day of exploring. You can really stretch out and relax, especially if you're traveling with friends or family.
  • The hotel offers a nice pool area with comfy lounge chairs, free of charge. You can enjoy some sun without worrying about additional fees or crowded spaces.
  • Guests appreciate the access to amenities at the nearby Flamingo hotel, like dining options and entertainment. This gives you the best of both worlds without having to stay in a crowded casino hotel.
  • Parking is convenient and easy to navigate, which is a plus if you’re driving. You won't waste time searching for a spot, allowing you to dive into your Vegas adventure sooner.
  • Many dining options are within walking distance, making it easy to satisfy your cravings without needing a car. Whether you're in the mood for casual bites or something more upscale, you'll find it nearby.
What doesn't
  • The pool area can be extremely noisy, especially during the day when loud music blasts for hours. If you're hoping for a peaceful retreat or a midday nap, this could be a deal-breaker.
  • Cleanliness issues have been reported, which is concerning for guests who expect a higher standard. A less-than-spotless room can put a damper on your whole stay.
  • Not all amenities are functioning properly, which can be frustrating. If you're counting on certain features to make your stay more enjoyable, you might be disappointed.
  • Accessing ride-shares like Uber can be inconvenient since pick-up is located at the Flamingo. This adds an extra step to your travel plans and may eat into your time.
  • The hotel lacks on-site dining options, offering only a small store for snacks and drinks. If you're looking for a full meal without leaving the property, you’ll need to venture out.

10Exceptional
I like that it was very close to the strip. We walked everywhere! We came for a concert at the sphere. Quick 15-20 minute walk. No waiting on a ride. It's very close to the strip, but still far enough away that it's quiet, except during the afternoon at the pool, but the hours they play music are fine as well. We loved staying here and would definitely consider it again with any return trips.

Hot tubs were out of order. The pool area at the adjacent property was noisy during the day.

6Good
This property is close to but out of the way of the strip which at a glance might seem like it's quiet and a good place to R&R after a long day/night in vegas; but this turned out to be more of a hindrance than a boon. Rideshare often goes to the main casino behind the hotel and request passenger pick up there. The hotel faces a back alley so you either enter through a side entrance at the main casino, or walk through backalleys to the main entrance. Furthermore, because it's behind a major casino pool, the pool party music wakes you up at 9am and continues to blare until 5pm. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. Apparently, they had missed a few steps during check-in and charged us a resort fee for water and internet. Had we known we were paying for the water, we would have taken them. The room itself was very clean and comfortable minjs the noise. The drains are connected so the toilet would sometimes burble with a other room flushing. Bath and shower amenities were sufficient for a comfortable experience. I've had far worse and had far better experiences. I'd put this experience just south of the middle of the road but in terms of my hotel experiences in Vegas, this is actually one of the better ones.
Guests frequently praise the Hilton Grand Vacations Club Flamingo Las Vegas for its convenient location near the Strip and the spacious, clean suites. However, many reviews highlight the need for property updates and express frustration with noise from the pool area and nearby attractions.

Who Should Stay Here?

Families and groups traveling to Las Vegas will find value here. The spacious rooms allow everyone to spread out comfortably after a day of activities. The friendly staff adds a personal touch, making it easy to unwind. The location gives you a taste of the Strip's excitement while offering a more relaxed atmosphere for downtime. If lounging by the pool sounds appealing, the complimentary access and comfortable chairs enhance the experience. Solo travelers or couples seeking a quiet retreat should think twice. The pool area can get loud, and cleanliness issues have raised eyebrows. If a pristine environment and peaceful surroundings are non-negotiable, this hotel may not meet your expectations. Additionally, the inconvenience with ride-share pick-ups could add frustration to your plans.

The Verdict

Our Take

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Flamingo Las Vegas offers friendly service and a spacious, comfortable stay in a prime location. The proximity to the Strip is a significant advantage, allowing guests to enjoy the action without the incessant noise. However, noise from the pool area and reported cleanliness issues can be off-putting. If you prioritize comfort and location over perfection, this hotel is worth considering.
