Pros & Cons

What works
  • The staff exude friendliness and warmth, making check-in and any requests feel like a visit with old friends rather than a transactional experience.
  • The location is excellent, situated just a five-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station, which connects you to all of London's major attractions and transport links.
  • Cleanliness is a standout feature here, ensuring that you feel comfortable and at ease in a space that is both modern and well-maintained.
  • The shower pressure is impressive, providing a refreshing wake-up call after a long day of exploring the city.
  • The room design maximizes the small space, making it feel more competent than cramped, which is a real win in a city known for its tiny accommodations.
What doesn't
  • The rooms are small, which can feel restrictive, especially if you’re traveling with multiple bags or need more space to unwind.
  • Amenities come at a premium; things like breakfast or coffee can add up quickly, which might catch budget-conscious travelers off guard.
  • Noise from the nearby tube is noticeable in lower-level rooms, especially early in the morning, which could disrupt light sleepers.
  • Some room features, like light and air conditioning controls, are not user-friendly, making it frustrating to adjust them when you need to.

9Exceptional

Great location and breakfast

Breakfast are very good.staff is really welcoming and the location is really great as it’s barely 5 minutes to the Liverpool station where you can get to anywhere you want from.
The lights and conditioner controllers are not really obvious as they are not physical and especially in the night. It’s hard to find the switcher and how to adjust it.

Satisfactory, nice, good value, very nice staff and clean (even to a slight germaphobe's standards!)

The staff were very nice, welcoming and accomidating. The bed was more comtrable than expected, moderetly and comftrably soft!
The only negative thing I experiences in the hotel was the placement of the toilet roll, we kept knocking it down whenever we went in/out of the bathroom, but very minor inconvenience!

Who Should Stay Here?

Point A London Liverpool Street is a solid choice for solo travelers and business professionals looking for a well-located base to explore the city without breaking the bank. The friendly staff and excellent cleanliness make for a pleasant stay, and the quick access to Liverpool Street Station allows for easy travel around London. Those who prioritize convenience and a friendly atmosphere will find value here. On the flip side, families or travelers with lots of luggage should probably seek alternatives. The small room sizes can feel cramped, and additional costs for breakfast and other amenities might not appeal to budget-conscious visitors. Light sleepers should also consider other options, as the noise from the tube can be disruptive, especially for those on lower floors.
