  • Rooms are spacious, which means you have more room to spread out and relax, especially if you're traveling with family or friends.
  • Parking is generally open and accessible, so you won’t have to stress about finding a spot after a long day of exploring the city.
  • Friendly staff can make a difference during your stay. Even if issues arise, having someone willing to help out can ease the frustration.
  • In-room amenities like a fridge and microwave add convenience for those who prefer to store snacks or reheat leftovers from local eateries.
What doesn't
  • Dirty rooms are a major issue, with guests reporting sticky surfaces and unclean linens. This can make your stay uncomfortable and raise concerns about hygiene.
  • Poor service from management can lead to frustrating experiences when trying to resolve issues, leaving guests feeling ignored and undervalued.
  • Maintenance problems, like broken thermostats and malfunctioning TVs, disrupt your stay and can result in unnecessary hassles.
  • The hotel’s overall condition appears rundown, which is not reflected in the online pictures. This discrepancy can lead to disappointment upon arrival.
  • Minimal breakfast options mean that if you rely on a hotel meal, you might end up going hungry, especially if you have specific dietary needs.

Night life was very approving

10/10 would stay again. I slept with one eye open and a hand gripped tightly on my pocket knife. Sounds of banging on my door were alarming at first until I realized Dana was on the other side. She sounded like she had a grand time. All my outlets were working and I slept on the floor as both beds were covered in a sticky substance of which I’m not going to discuss. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A drug deal went down later in the night outside of my door. Grand time

Great value for the location! Room was clean, staff was friendly. Don't expect quiet, though, there's a ton of nightlife next door

8Excellent
The workers were amazing. Let me check in early and check out late. It was a little loud at night and in the morning. Breakfast could have been better. My key card stopped working 3 different times. But staff were awesome. Room was fairly clean Bed sheets had stains and so did towels.

2Poor
Scary bad. From cigarette burns in the bedding, paint falling from the ceiling, wobbly toilet, rotting cabinets and a door with gaps big enough for bugs to come and go. Expedia was able to get me a partial refund... Thank goodness.
Guests frequently praise the friendly and helpful staff at Fiddler's Inn, noting their willingness to accommodate requests like early check-ins and late check-outs. However, many reviews highlight significant cleanliness issues, including stained bedding and towels, as well as disturbing nighttime noise from the surrounding nightlife and unsavory activity outside.

Who Should Stay Here?

Families and groups looking for budget-friendly accommodations will find value at Fiddler's Inn. The spacious rooms allow for comfortable gatherings and the location makes it easy to explore Nashville's highlights without spending much on transport. Plus, the accessible parking means you can come and go without the hassle of searching for a spot after a long day out. Friendly staff members can also make your experience more pleasant, especially when facing minor issues during your stay. However, solo travelers or couples seeking a clean, well-maintained environment should consider other options. The reports of dirty rooms and poor service from management indicate a lack of attention to guest comfort. Maintenance problems can add unnecessary stress to your trip, and the overall rundown condition of the hotel might not align with your expectations if you are looking for a polished experience.

The Verdict

Our Take

Fiddler's Inn offers a great location near Nashville's main attractions and spacious rooms that can accommodate families comfortably. However, dirty rooms and poor management service tarnish the experience, making it hard to recommend without reservations. If you prioritize location and friendly staff over cleanliness and maintenance, this place might suit your needs. Otherwise, consider looking elsewhere for a more reliable stay.
