Pros & Cons

What works
  • The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Their local tips can enhance your Nashville experience significantly.
  • The location is prime; you're within walking distance of attractions like the Bridgestone Arena and Broadway's live music scene. This means less time commuting and more time enjoying the city's vibrant energy.
  • Rooms are clean and spacious, providing a comfortable retreat after a busy day exploring. You can relax without worrying about the state of your accommodations.
  • The lobby bar is a nice touch for a pre-event drink, creating a social atmosphere where you can unwind before hitting the town. Just be aware that its hours may not always align with your schedule.
  • The hotel is quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep even with the bustling city nearby. This is crucial if you're planning to be up early for sightseeing or events.
  • If you like to walk, you'll appreciate how easy it is to get around without needing to drive everywhere. The nearby attractions are a real bonus for those who want to explore on foot.
  • The spaciousness of the rooms allows for comfortable movement and can be especially nice for families or groups traveling together.
What doesn't
  • Parking fees are hefty at $60 per day, which can add a significant expense to your stay. This can be frustrating, especially after already spending a decent amount on the hotel itself.
  • Breakfast options are limited, and it's not included in your stay. If you prefer a hearty morning meal without venturing out, you may find yourself disappointed.
  • The lack of USB ports in the room can be a hassle, especially for those who rely on multiple devices. It can be inconvenient to have to search for a wall plug when your phone is running low.
  • Some rooms are located near the gym, which can lead to early morning noise. If you're a light sleeper, consider requesting a room further away from the workout area.
  • The cleanliness of the bathrooms can be hit or miss, with reports of stains and leftover debris in some instances. This inconsistency can detract from the overall experience.

Great location, front desk staff and valet service

The staff was so friendly and helpful!
The room wasn’t the cleanest, the bathroom door had stains all over that were easily cleaned off with a wet hand towel, there was food and dead bugs by the window.

I’d give it an 8/10

Great price, very nice and great location, walkable to Brookstone Arena! Loved the lobby bar pre-event. Unfortunately, closed when I returned.
The Kurig in my room did not work - and had it been, the supplies were unacceptable. One caffeine-free pod, and 4 tea pods. There are NO USB ports in the room. I was not prepared, with a wall plug, so my phone died.

8Excellent
Clean and well kept. Convenient to local attractions
Beware, they want $60 plus a day to park which is rediculous after you spend $1200 for 4 nights. I got parking one block away for the whole time, in under ground garage for $98, and you could come and go with no problem. They will tell you they can’t match prices or even get close. On my last stay, atleast the Hyatt matched local prices. They will tell you beware of local parking your car could be broken into. Total scare tactics! Use app find your own parking!
Guests consistently praise the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Downtown Convention Center for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and friendly staff. However, complaints often focus on the lack of included breakfast, cleanliness issues in some rooms, and high parking fees, which many consider excessive compared to nearby options.

Who Should Stay Here?

The Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Downtown Convention Center serves travelers who prioritize location and friendly service. If you plan to explore Nashville's famous attractions like the Bridgestone Arena and Broadway, this hotel places you right in the heart of the action. The clean and spacious rooms provide a comfortable base after a day of music and sightseeing. Friendly staff are ready with local tips to enhance your experience, making this hotel a good choice for those eager to dive into Nashville's vibrant culture. On the other hand, budget-conscious travelers might want to look elsewhere. The steep $60 daily parking fee can quickly turn a reasonable stay into an expensive one. Additionally, tech-savvy guests may find the absence of USB ports inconvenient, while light sleepers could be disturbed by noise from rooms near the gym.
