Pros & Cons

What works
  • The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the train station. This means you can easily hop on public transport to explore not only Rome but also nearby cities.
  • The staff, especially Sophian, are genuinely friendly and eager to help. Their personalized service can make a difference, especially if you're navigating a new city.
  • Rooms are clean and organized, which contributes to a more comfortable stay. You can expect a tidy environment that allows you to relax after a day of sightseeing.
  • The breakfast offers a good variety, although it could use more salty options. Starting your day with a solid meal gives you the energy to tackle the city.
  • The secure building provides peace of mind, especially for travelers concerned about safety. Knowing that you are in a safe environment can enhance your overall experience.
  • Having a little balcony in some rooms allows for a charming spot to unwind. It’s nice to sip your coffee outside and soak in the Roman atmosphere.
What doesn't
  • Cleanliness can be hit or miss, which can be unsettling. A dirty room can really detract from your comfort, especially if you're planning to stay several nights.
  • The amenities are lacking, which can be disappointing for travelers expecting additional comforts. Limited options can leave you feeling like something is missing from your stay.
  • Bed comfort leaves something to be desired, which can affect how well you sleep. A good night's rest is essential for enjoying your travels.
  • The breakfast lacks sufficient salty options, which might not satisfy everyone’s palate. If you prefer a variety of flavors to start your day, you may find this a drawback.

Highly recommend as it was a good price, great location and amazing staff!

The location was perfect! We loved our little balcony. Good sized bathroom. Secure building. Friendly staff. Sofyane was amazing! He took our bags up to our floor because the elevator didn’t go that high. He helped us navigate the area and was just so friendly and kind. Would definitely return!

8Excellent
Very close to the train station.
The breakfast did not include many salty options.
Guests consistently praise Hotel Concorde for its excellent location and friendly, helpful staff, with particular mentions of a staff member named Sophian for his exceptional service. However, a common complaint arises regarding the breakfast options, with some guests noting a lack of variety, especially in savory items.

Who Should Stay Here?

Hotel Concorde is a solid option for budget travelers who value location over luxury. Its proximity to the train station allows for easy access to Rome and beyond, making it a practical choice for those who plan to spend their days exploring rather than lounging in the hotel. Friendly staff members, particularly Sophian, enhance the experience with personalized service, ensuring you feel welcomed and supported during your stay. A clean, organized room can provide a decent retreat after a long day of sightseeing, and the breakfast variety, while not perfect, is enough to fuel your morning adventures. On the flip side, if you prioritize comfort and amenities, this hotel may not meet your expectations. The inconsistent cleanliness can be unsettling, especially for those who intend to stay multiple nights. Additionally, the lack of comfortable beds and limited amenities might frustrate travelers looking for a more relaxing experience. Finally, if you're someone who enjoys a diverse breakfast spread, the absence of salty options could leave you wanting more. Look elsewhere if your trip hinges on these comforts.
