Overview

Hotel Fiori is a two-star hotel located on Via Nazionale in Rome. It caters to budget-conscious travelers looking for a central base to explore the city’s historic sites. Just steps from the Roman Forum and Trevi Fountain, this hotel combines convenience with a touch of local charm. With its straightforward accommodations, it attracts visitors who prioritize location over luxury.

Pros & Cons

What works
  • The location places you within walking distance of major attractions like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. You can easily explore the city without the hassle of public transport or expensive taxis.
  • The staff here genuinely cares about your experience. They are friendly and accommodating, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.
  • The rooms are clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable atmosphere for resting after a long day of sightseeing.
  • It’s surprisingly quiet for a hotel located in such a bustling city. You can enjoy a good night’s sleep away from the noise of Rome's streets.
  • The breakfast room provides a pleasant start to your day, allowing you the chance to fuel up before heading out for more explorations.
  • Offering an airport shuttle adds convenience, especially for those traveling with families or larger groups. It alleviates some stress from the logistics of traveling.
What doesn't
  • The rooms can feel small, especially if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage. Solo travelers might find this manageable, but it could be cramped for others.
  • Average cleanliness means you might encounter some small issues like dust or minor stains, which could detract from an otherwise comfortable stay.
  • The lack of proper amenities limits the overall experience. For instance, you won’t find basics like a gym or a pool to unwind after a day of exploring.
  • Some guests have reported that the smart TV features, like YouTube, don't always work. This can be disappointing if you were counting on some downtime with your favorite shows.
  • While there are plenty of food options nearby, not having breakfast included can be a hassle. You’ll need to plan your morning meals, which may not suit everyone’s schedule.

10Exceptional

Comfortable, convenient, quiet, luxury for low price

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very dark and quiet for sleeping. They offered an airport shuttle (additional fee paid to driver). This would be a great option for families or parties of 2-6ish people. It was very clean. They allowed us to drop our bags prior to checking In and even delivered our bags to our room for us before we returned to check in later on that day. Amazing service.
There wasn’t breakfast offered, which doesn’t seem uncommon for accommodations in the Rome area. There’s a lot of food nearby and it’s easy to find things to eat, so not really much of a negative.

Pleasant but nothing special.noce barthroom but small

Location. Staff. Very quiet. Easily located with maps.
Bit on smaller side but as solo I was fine. Little picky but YouTube on smart tv didn’t work this would make the stay much more plesant. But overall I would recommend for a low cost stay close to what you want to see well there.
Guests consistently praise Hotel Fiori for its comfortable beds, quiet atmosphere, and convenient location. Many appreciate the attentive service, including help with luggage. However, a common complaint is the lack of breakfast options, though nearby dining is readily available. Some guests note that rooms can be small, which may not suit everyone.

Who Should Stay Here?

Hotel Fiori is best suited for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location and personal service over luxury. If you want to be steps away from major attractions like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, this hotel offers unmatched convenience. The attentive staff helps create a welcoming atmosphere, making it a solid choice for those who value a friendly touch during their stay. On the other hand, families or groups traveling with a lot of luggage should probably look elsewhere. The small room sizes could be restrictive, and the average cleanliness may not meet everyone's expectations. Additionally, if you rely on hotel amenities like a gym or pool to unwind, this place will likely leave you wanting more.

The Verdict

Our Take

Hotel Fiori offers a fantastic location for those eager to explore Rome's iconic sights on foot. The friendly staff and clean rooms add to the comfort, making it a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers. However, the smaller room sizes and lack of amenities may not suit everyone, especially those with more luggage or seeking additional facilities. If you prioritize location and service over spaciousness, this hotel is worth considering.
