Pros & Cons

What works
  • The cleanliness is impressive, making it easy to relax and feel at home. You won’t have to worry about dusty corners or questionable bathroom conditions.
  • The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Having someone like Armando at the reception can make a huge difference when navigating a new city or needing assistance.
  • The rooms are modern and comfortable, giving you a cozy retreat after exploring Rome. You'll appreciate the fresh decor and inviting atmosphere at the end of a long day.
  • The neighborhood is full of local cafes, which means you can enjoy authentic Italian coffee and pastries just steps away from your door. It adds a genuine touch to your morning routine.
  • The location offers a blend of quiet and accessibility. You can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep while still being within reach of major attractions.
What doesn't
  • Transportation can be a hassle, as public options may not be as convenient as you'd hope. You might find yourself spending extra time or money figuring out how to get around.
  • Minor maintenance issues can detract from the overall experience. Small problems, like an outdated bathroom or uncomfortable bed, can make you feel less satisfied than you’d expect.
  • Some rooms may not match the photos online, leading to disappointment. If you're hoping for that picture-perfect apartment, reality might fall short.
  • A strange smell in one of the rooms can be off-putting, especially for guests who are sensitive to odors. This can significantly impact your comfort and sleep quality.

7Very Good
The personnel (especially the manager) was very kind and allowed us immediately changed the room. It was clean, and quiet.
Unfortunately, the deluxe appartment that we got turned out to be much worse looking than on booking.com… Pictures on the website should reflect the reality, while current pictures do not reflect the appearance of the appartment at all, making it artificially much more modern and nice looking compare to the real conditions. Additionally, there was a very weird smell for the whole night, which didn’t allow the people who were living in there (unfortunately older people) to sleep for the whole night… Here a big plus for the manager, who after my call, immediately changed the room.
Guests frequently praise the comfort of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff, particularly noting helpful individuals like Armando at the reception. However, complaints often center around uncomfortable beds, outdated bathrooms, and discrepancies between the online images and the actual appearance of the accommodations.

Who Should Stay Here?

Travelers seeking a clean, friendly atmosphere will find great value at Patrizia Romana Palace. The impressive cleanliness and warm staff create a welcoming environment, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring Rome. The modern rooms offer a cozy retreat, and the nearby local cafes add a delightful touch to your mornings, perfect for those wanting an authentic Italian experience. Families or couples who appreciate a comfortable home base without the luxury price tag will particularly enjoy their stay here. On the other hand, this hotel may not suit guests looking for easy access to public transportation or those expecting pristine accommodations. The transportation options can be inconvenient, leading to extra time and costs getting around. Additionally, minor maintenance issues and discrepancies between advertised and actual room conditions may frustrate discerning travelers. If you're searching for a polished or upscale experience, you might want to consider other options.
