10Exceptional

Beautiful hotel, unbelievable location, will stay again.

Everything! We kindly got an upgrade and was able to check in 2 hrs early. The room was stunning and very quiet. The design is beautiful and it's location could not be any better.. in the heart of everything! Kind staff that speak great English and have a rooftop pool and bar too. Very comfortable bed and everything was spotless clean. When I return to Barcelona I will definitely stay there again.
I really can't majorly complain about anything but if I was being picky, the rooftop bar was quite unorganized. We ordered 2 cocktails and 2 croquettes and waited about 30minutes. Luckily we weren't in a rush so didn't mind, but that would be the only concern!

A perfect birthday weekend!

I stayed at this hotel before and loved it so much that I decided to come back to celebrate my birthday, and it was just as great the second time! The stay was excellent, very comfortable, and the staff made sure all our needs were taken care of. We had a spacious room with a lovely view, very comfortable beds, and a shower with impressive water pressure. The breakfast was varied and tasty, with plenty of great options. We also love the terrace bar, perfect for enjoying a nice glass of wine. The location is ideal for me, as all my favorite spots in the city are within walking distance. I will definitely be back again for my next stay in Barcelona.

8Excellent

Hotel in an excellent location with welcoming and friendly staff.

The fact that we could watch the nightly light show on one of Gaudí’s most iconic masterpieces, Casa Batlló, right from our balcony was simply amazing.
If the lobby were bigger and there were a proper rooftop restaurant, it would be even better.

7Very Good

Nice and clean hotel in nice area.

Nice location and view from the room 604
No gym, gym in sister hotel was tiny: and equipment was broken or missing.
Guests consistently praise the beautiful design, excellent location, and friendly staff at Room Mate Anna. Many highlight the comfort of the rooms and the quality of the breakfast. On the downside, complaints often center around the rooftop bar's disorganization and a desire for more amenities, such as a larger lobby and a proper gym.

Who Should Stay Here?

Room Mate Anna appeals to travelers who prioritize location and friendly service. If you want to be steps away from iconic Barcelona landmarks like Casa Batlló and La Rambla, this hotel delivers convenience. The attentive staff enhances your stay, making it easy to navigate the city or fulfill special requests. Cleanliness is a strong point here, so those who value a tidy environment will feel at ease. The rooftop pool offers a pleasant space to unwind after a day of sightseeing, providing a nice spot to relax and enjoy the views. On the other hand, those who are sensitive to noise should consider other options, as the air conditioning can disrupt sleep. Additionally, if you are traveling with family or a group, the cramped room sizes may be an issue, especially with luggage. Guests seeking a flawless experience might be disappointed by some signs of wear and tear throughout the hotel and the slow service at the rooftop bar. If quick service or spacious accommodations are non-negotiable, looking elsewhere might be the better choice.
